The children, who saw a geothermal power plant for the first time in their lives, had an exciting and enjoyable technical trip to MB Holding facilities.

6th grade students, who listened to the principle of generating energy from geothermal, which is an environmentally friendly, local, renewable and sustainable energy source, asked the questions they were curious about, in the company of their teacher Ebru Şahin Özaksoy, to Murat Karadaş, Mechanical Engineer, MEGE A.Ş Mechanical Department.

During the trip organized on the occasion of Environment Week, the students were happy to see the geothermal, which they only verbally processed, on site. Mentioning the importance of leaving a healthy environment for future generations during the visit, MB Holding Chairman Muharrem Balat stated that it is of great importance for children to be raised with a certain environmental awareness and that it is a mission for the holding to instill this awareness in children.

He said that the facility is indispensable and learning closely what can be done in an integrated manner as in our Sultan geothermal-sourced technological greenhouse would benefit the youth.

Stating that he is doing his best to leave a clean environment to future generations, Balat stated that the doors of geothermal facilities are always open to all educational institutions. Expressing that they are waiting for the young people to visit again, he congratulated the teachers for this trip and sent the student group to their schools.
